Mongalet
Mongalet replaces bottled mineral water on the tables of high-end hospitality with a pure water service, remineralized on site and served in carafes or siphons. This is the mission written into its bylaws as a mission-driven company.
A complete filtration chain, down to reverse osmosis, forms a sanitary barrier against PFAS, microplastics and heavy metals. The water is then continuously remineralized by Selzo™, a proprietary mineral salt cartridge developed with the Water Chair of Polytechnique Montréal: the same taste everywhere, still or sparkling, whatever the local network.
The fountain stays in the kitchen. At the table, carafes and siphons designed with studio Big Game, in the codes of fine tableware. Everything is offered as a subscription service, with installation, maintenance and containers included.
In palaces and starred restaurants, bottled mineral water still rules, even though it is discredited: microplastics, health scandals, transport, storage, glass returns. Existing fountains have not taken its place: partial filtration, taste that depends on the local network, generic design.
