Companion.energy tackles a critical issue for Europe's large energy consumers: the volatility of energy markets and contractual complexity, against a backdrop of accelerating energy transition.
Its platform is built on two layers: Prism, which unifies financial and operational data in real time, and Propel, which sends control signals to flexible assets (batteries, solar, heat electrification, EV charging) every 15 minutes without ever touching industrial processes.
This lack of organisational friction translates into average sales cycles of 3.6 months, zero churn, an NRR of 110%, and technical integration on existing SCADA systems reduced to a single day.
Companion today manages more than 2 TWh of energy consumption and production per year for its clients, representing roughly €500M in energy flows, and orchestrates over 200 MW of flexible assets.
The market remains fragmented. Companion is today the only pan-European, pan-asset player, with 80% of its product value common to all markets. The funds raised will accelerate hiring, deepen the Propel layer, and build local presence in France, Germany and Spain.
The ambition is to reach €5M ARR within 18 months and to become the reference energy operating system for Europe's large industrial players.
