A seasoned entrepreneur dedicated to scaling deeptech startups to industrial maturity
Co-founder and CEO of Leosphere, a pioneer in atmospheric LiDAR, he grew the company from 0 to 170 employees before its acquisition in 2018 by Finnish group Vaisala (listed on Nasdaq Helsinki). He has been through every stage: founding, hypergrowth, fundraising, restructuring, M&A, and integration into a large corporation.
From 2018 to 2023, he served as VP Growth Business within Vaisala's Weather division, where he created and led a business unit dedicated to meteorological solutions for renewable energy, smart cities, air quality, and maritime applications.
As a Partner at Asterion Ventures, he will also join the board of directors of several startups to support them through their growth, international expansion, and industrialization phases.
"I'm thrilled to join Asterion to help deeptech teams break through the manufacturing barrier: turning promising pilots into industrial products, ready to deploy at scale." — Alexandre Sauvage, Partner, Asterion Ventures
