With twenty-five years of entrepreneurial, management and strategic consulting experience, Alexandre Sauvage brings to Asterion Ventures a rare expertise in innovation, industrial structuring and go-to-market.
Co-founder and CEO of Leosphere, a pioneer in atmospheric LiDAR, he grew the company from 0 to 170 employees before its takeover in 2018 by Finnish group Vaisala (listed on Nasdaq Helsinki). He has been through all the stages: creation, hypergrowth, fundraising, restructuring, M&A, then integration into a major group.
From 2018 to 2023, he became VP Growth Business within Vaisala's Weather division, where he created and led a business unit dedicated to meteorological solutions for renewable energies, smart cities, air quality and marine.
As a Partner of Asterion Ventures, he will also join the board of directors of several startups to support them in their growth, internationalization and industrialization phases.
"I'm delighted to be joining Asterion to help deeptech teams break through the factory wall: turning promising pilots into industrial products, ready for large-scale deployment."
